If you are a saddle hunter, you know that knee pads are a must for added comfort!
Many of the hunting saddle manufacturers offer knee pads for anywhere from $30 to $70 dollars. Instead, I use the NoCry Home & Gardening Knee Pads from Amazon. They cost $10.99 and the pair weigh only 4 oz.
Hack: I replaced the velcro straps with some 1" elastic straps and a side release buckle (see pic on the left). This eliminates the velcro noise while in the field, if you have to remove or adjust the knee pads. Also, by making the straps longer, I have the option of wearing the knee pads on the outside of bulky cold-weather hunting pants.
